LeadPerfection was designed for both large and small organizations. In a typical small organization, one or two employees will have access to all parts of the system. However in a larger organization, job responsibilities tend to be much more specialized. LeadPerfection can play an integral part in assuring adequate separation of duties.

The menu bar which appears near the top of each screen is generated dynamically for each user based upon his or her security settings. So for example, if a given user is a sales rep and should not have access to marketing data, those pages of the system will not even appear in the menubar. Taking it one step further, the security module allows the system administrator to grant “read only” access where required so that employees will be able to view data without being able to make any changes.

But if that’s not enough, many of the key pages in LeadPerfection allow security to be defined right down to the field level. So for example, you could have a production manager updating contract information, but prevent him from changing the gross dollar amount of the contract.

If you want to assure a secure environment, you need two more ingreients. You need to control the “where” and “when” that users can access your data, and you need to monitor their activity. LeadPerfection is incredibly robust in both of these areas.

Do you really want to allow your part-time office staff to be perusing through your leads from home at 3am on Saturday morning? They never did mention that their brother-in-law has his own, small remodeling company.

We believe that users who have no business accessing the data from outside of the office should be prevented from doing so, otherwise you run the risk of giving away your most valuable asset, “information”. LeadPerfection has the ability to restrict users so that they can only access the system from within your office, and only during the normal business hours. This restriction is at the user level, so you can allow your most trusted staff to access from elsewhere, while preventing the rest.

Sadly, employee turnover in the remodeling industry is very high. So it is important to monitor the activity of all employees, even those that entrusted to access data from home. LeadPerfection logs an enormous amount of detail, so you’ll be able to review who is logging in, what reports they are running, and which prospects and sales contracts they access.
